About the Association
The Trinidad and Tobago Registered Nurses Association (TTRNA), founded in 1930, is an independent, non-political, non-governmental and national association of Registered Nurses, Licensed Midwives, Advanced Practice Nurses, Registered Mental Nurse, Enrolled Nursing Assistants, Associate and Affiliate members. Its primary goal is to represent its members and be the voice of the profession nationally, regionally and internationally through personal and professional development, education, representation and bargaining. It functions unrestricted by consideration of gender, social status, ethnicity, creed, colour or sexual orientation. TTRNA confines its interests and concerns primarily to matters related to health, nursing, Midwifery and Trade Union matters. It is not in itself a political body.
